Who I am
My name is Azalea Hayes, and I am a 13-year-old business owner. My business journey began with a school challenge where we were tasked to create a business and launch it at a children's business fair. At first, I just wanted to complete the challenge and have fun with my friends. However, we soon took it more seriously and decided to pursue our own businesses.
I struggled to find an idea until a friend gave me a gift that inspired me. The following day, I came to the concept of Crystal Candies. Initially, I didn’t think my product would sell since the cost of making them was quite high. But after doing some research, I discovered a way to reduce my production costs by over 80%. Encouraged by this finding, I decided to keep moving forward, and I have come such a long way since then.
